1966 Ferrari 275 GTS spyder
1966 Ferrari 275 GTS spyder, S/N 08335, Engine No. 08335, Azzuro Metallizato with black, ordered by and delivered new to Mr. Mortimer Rosenbaum of San Diego via Auto – Becker of Dusseldorf, residing in California until coming east in 1992 to noted collector Mr. Ervin “Bud” Lyon who in 1998 commissioned Paul Russell and Company to perform a refurbishment which included a bare metal repainting, re-chroming of bumpers, attention to engine and suspension, as well as general sorting of all systems. Following Mr. Lyon’s ownership the 275 GTS was owned in two other prominent Boston collections under the care of Ken McCay’s Boston Sportscar. 08335 is a matching numbers example and is complete with build sheets, Marcel Massini history, tool roll and jack, original manuals, two sets of original keys, Borrani wire wheels, hard top, correct Becker Mexico radio, original dealer invoice to Mr. Rosenbaum, factory correspondence. Showing just 34,700 miles from new, 08335 is the 193rd of just 200 275 GTS spyders produced.
